This website is built to collect as little as possible: fonts, images and scripts come from our own server and no advertising cookies are set. The one exception is the Google map in the Getting here section.

What data is collected
Server log files
When you open this website your browser transmits technically necessary data, which our hosting provider stores in log files: truncated or full IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page.
This data serves solely to operate the site securely, to diagnose faults and to defend against attacks. It is not combined with other sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in trouble-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31 revFADP).
Getting in touch
If you call or e-mail us, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. We do not operate a contact form. Reservations are taken by phone and are not stored permanently.
Audience measurement
Where audience measurement is used, it operates without cookies and without building user profiles. No data allowing identification of individuals is collected, and no cross-device recognition takes place.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies for advertising or analytics purposes.
For the age confirmation (adults 18 and over) a single value is stored in your browser's local storage so that the prompt is not repeated on a return visit. This value contains no personal data, is never transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.
Third-party services
Fonts, icons, scripts and images are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or social networks. Simply opening this website transmits your IP address to no third party.
Google Maps
The “Getting here” section embeds a map from Google Maps. As soon as that section loads, your browser connects to Google and transmits your IP address and technical details of your browser. Google may set cookies in the process and may process the data outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular in the United States.
We embed the map so that you can see our location and the route straight away. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the location clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31 revFADP). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you would rather not, you can block the embed with a script or tracking blocker in your browser; the rest of this page is unaffected.
If you select “Open route” you leave this website and open Google Maps directly, where Google's privacy terms apply.
Retention
Log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose stated — normally within a few weeks. E-mail correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet statutory retention obligations.
Disclosure to third parties
Your data is not passed on, other than to our hosting provider as part of technical provision and where we are legally obliged to do so.
The hosting provider is Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias, Genf, Switzerland. The servers are located in Switzerland; no transfer to third countries takes place.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law you have the right to information about the personal data we process about you, and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and in the EEA with the data protection authority responsible for your place of residence.

This website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
